Cove Kids 

A space for children to be who God already says they are.

At the Cove, we believe children are a vital part of our church family, even if we’re still a small group! Right now, our church is home to a few young ones and a small growing number of families. As we look to the future, we’re prayerfully and intentionally building a Children’s Ministry that will nurture the way God sees our children, as beautiful image-bearers. Each child is welcomed as belonging, called beloved, and seen as delightful in the eyes of God.

What Guides Us

  1. Who God is — Kind, Present, Holy, Faithful, Merciful, and Full of love

  2. Who our children are — people who belong, people who are deeply beloved, and people that bring God so much delight

  • We’re flexible and family-friendly. Babies, toddlers, and young children are always welcome in the service or in one of our family spaces. Whichever parents prefer.

    Right now, we offer dedicated family areas for:

    • Nursing moms

    • Families who want to worship together and listen to the sermon while children play

    • A structured children’s worship, learning, and exploration time directly following the services meet and greet 

    • A quieter space for families who need flexibility during the service

    Family Worship Sundays: The first Sunday of each month is Family Worship Sunday. Children join their families in the main service. The Family Room will still be open, but no children’s activities will be offered.

    As we grow, our aim is to offer a cozy children’s space each Sunday where kids can:

    • Hear stories that reflect God's gentleness and presence

    • Experience rest, wonder, and connection

    • Explore who God is and what that means for who they are

  • As more families join our church, we are praying and preparing:

    • Dedicated classrooms for designated age groups 

    • To host family-friendly events that revolve around prayer, play, conversation, and celebration 

  • If you're a parent or guardian looking for a church home, we’d love for your family to be part of our story. Whether you have one child or five, newborns or teenagers, there's room for you here, and we’d be honored to grow and learn together.
